Mead, has a history that goes back more than 8,000 years, its believed to be the world’s oldest alcoholic drink. It’s a fermented beverage made from honey, water and yeast. It can be created in an almost limitless array of varieties including Melomel (fruit or fruit juice ) , Cyser (apples), Capsumel (chile peppers), and Metheglins (spices ). Mead has a distinct flavor and aroma not found in wine or beer.
